Update (June 8, 2007): Exciting news! The secret is out - Chris’ band will be appearing on the forthcoming Summer Tour! The show will be a mixture of solo and band performance, supported once again with a dramatic production, a variation on the hugely successful ‘Storyman Tour’ from Autumn 2006.

The show that Birmingham’s own Jasper Carrott refers to as “a humdinger of a party” is back at The NEC Arena this Christmas. Some 40,000 people celebrated the start of Christmas with Jasper and friends in 2006 and enjoyed the most fantastic night out, watching act after act bring the house down.
“Rock With Laughter is unique to Birmingham, if not the UK,” says Jasper. “It combines some of the world’s best comedy acts with multi award winning musical talent to create a rip-roaring party night the whole family can enjoy!”
This year’s acts include Chris de Burgh and his band, Dame Edna Everage, Jamelia and her band, Jo Brand, The Manfreds (featuring Paul Jones and Mike d’Abo) and Shakin’ Stevens. And if past years are anything to go by, Jasper will probably have a few surprises up his sleeve on the night!
