Joan Smith:

I cannot see that anyone else has posted a review for the last night
of the tour at Bournemouth, so here goes.
The weather was terrible as were my seats I made the silly mistake of
phoning ticketline and not the venue and was miles back The concert
was a sell out and there was a real air of anticipation as we took
our seats

The weather may have accounted for the 10 minute delay at the start
of the concert but by then we had chatted to the other fans sitting
around us and discovered some other devoted fans also sitting towards
the back.

Still I got the same excited tingle as they played the first few
notes of 'When Winter Comes'and then there was 2 and a half hours of
pure Chris old tracks new tracks and 'Blackbird' accompanied by Hubie
playing his Dads guitar. At the end I managed to get down to the
front to dance and the second encore was just magic- Beatle Tracks
and American Pie and really it was a bit of a party. Then Hubie came
back to join in with Hey Jude- at one point you could almost see him
thinking 'Dad's making it up as he goes along again' but it was a
great way to end the concert. I can't wait to make it to the next
concert but in case it's a while I can play the film on my digital
camera over and over again.........
