Sheila Gardner: Hi All, Yes I have to agree with Chris R, what a very lively show this was last night! Chris R kindly offered to drive to Brighton with me for the show and we set off early and had time to go for a steak meal before the concert. Entering the venue we met many list fans, and non list fans. The stage was quite high but not as high as the last time Chris was here. Plenty of space in-between the front row and the stage for dancing later :-) The audience was very excitable and there was so many comments shouted to Chris and he was enjoying it :-)) Highlights of this show for me were handing Chris a rose after he sang my fav Last Night, watching Susan who was with us, doing her Natasha Dance which amused Chris. The audience were very excited when he did the Britney Spears walkabout bit and so many gave and had kisses including myself and Chris R. So many were on their feet and he had a long applause and cheer when going back on stage. Most of us were dancing from the part in the Journey that speeds up and I was amazed at how many of the audience were there, it was great to have so much dancing space to fill! So much wild cheering and fans taking pictures on phones, trying to hand him CDs and stuff and when Chris was finishing SONY I had a mass of people trying to have a touch of his hand, that I ducked and let them all through - their faces after was a joy to see :-)) All too soon the show was over and the lights were up. We tried chatting to excited fans about the show, in front of the stage, but we were all asked to leave quickly. This was my last show of this tour and it was a corker! As Chris said during the show "Brighton Rocks!" All those going to Liverpool and Bournemouth are in for a treat. Have a lovely time! Take care, Sheila :-) |
