Chris Williams:

Hi all,
well here is the last review from our 'girls only' week. So we
arrived in Zurich in mid afternoon and found our 'posh' hotel,
(well this was our last night of a fantastic week) where we cooled
off with some nice food and a drink of course !! We walked around
the area a bit and then went for a rest as we were all getting a
bit tired.

Soon as usual it was time to leave for the venue and again it was
not the best of venues...I guess we were all spoiled with the likes
of the philharmonie halls of Cologne and Berlin........but this was
not going to ruin our enjoyment one little bit !! We sat next to
Hannelore and also spoke to Franziska from the list. Hi to both of
you.

Again the show started virtually on time, and Chris was wearing a
white shirt and the usual black trousers and black shoes. From the
start Chris looked tired, but as usual gave 'his best' through out
the whole concert. I know how the 3 of us girls feel so if he felt
anything like us he must have been knackered. The audience were a
bit more quiet than the night before, but still there were a few
clapping along from the start of the show.

When it came to the Britney Spears bit, of course alot of the
audience stood up, but mainly on one side of the venue, the people
all around us were mostly still sat down. It was soooo funny as
just after Chris had put on his head microphone, he decided that he
needed a drink and picked up his glass of water and went to drink
from it...................one big problem tho......the microphone
was in the way !!!! So maybe sometimes it is not only Dany who
needs 'adult supervision' but Chris as well ;-) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course when it came to Lady In Red, the audience went wild as
usual, and I still personally love this song despite hearing it
about a zillion times !!

One shock was that Chris missed out Songbird from the set list,
which was a real shame, as it really is one of my favourites. He
sings that song with such emotion.

As soon as Chris started 'Where Peaceful Waters Flow' a couple of
the audience ran to the front of the stage, so of course we joined
them, along with a few others, but only about 50 or so people were
in front of the stage so after the end of that song, Chris actually
asked the audience if they would like to come down to the front of
the stage to join him..........then he said 'of course that's only
if you want to' !!! then a lot more people started to join in and
soon the area in front of the stage was fairly full with dancing
people. One very different thing we have all noticed in the 2 Swiss
shows, is the fact that when it is time for the fast bit in front
of the stage, the people do not pack in so closely and we had
plenty of space to actually dance, which is very different from the
German shows.

Again he left the stage after Snows Of New York and did not do any
extra songs :-(

Now it will soon be time to start the long journey back to Andreas
place and after a short break there, the journey back to the
airport for me :-( By this time tomorrow morning all 3 of us will
be back in the real world and doing our usual jobs.

Now the lesson Dany learnt yesterday and this morning is the fact
that when you are in an elevator and it stops you have to check
what floor it is on before running straight out of it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
as it may not be the floor your room is on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning I think that it must be Andrea the senior partner in
the Lucas/Zill travel company who should do the driving as the
junior partner and co driver, Dany is well out of order ...as
always !!! and me Chris, we'll I'm just going to sit in the back of
the car and try to stay awake while thinking of a new lesson for
Dany to learn !!!!!!! ......on second thoughts we'd better put Dany
in the back and make sure that the child locks are on the doors
incase she gets out before the car stops........or even tries to
get on a train to go to Lausanne!!! gosh, Andrea and I cannot
understand how Dany will survive the next few days with out 'adult
supervision' ...all we can say is 'god help' her poor Mum !!!!!!!!!

Sorry ..........we are all a bit mad this morning , but we really
have had a brilliant 8 days together, and no men insight, apart
from the 'little' man, with the 'golden voice' who was on the
stage each night of course ;-)

take care all,

Chris(W), aka thebluehealer, and roaming CdeB reporter, Andrea, the
quiet but sensible one, and Dany the big kid who just always wants
to have fun !!!!!!!!!
