Claudia Quantz: Hello from Bremen ! I just got home after some wonderful hours filled with CdeB music ;-) The venue was at the horse racing track and the stage was actually built on the track itself. Chris made some funny remarks during the concert regarding an ongoing horse race and a very lame horse named George W. As we had some rain here during the day the people were well prepared for a wet evening but the light rain stopped during the first song and it was dry until the last song, when it began raining again. I just canīt keep track with all the songs he played tonight, but those of you who have been to a concert of TRTF tour know the list anyway. It was a very nice mix of old and new songs and Christ was in a good mood. During the Medley he made his way through the crowd and you could just see from the people turning their heads where he actually was. At some point he held up an umbrella so that people could make out where he was. Although it was a seated concert the first rush to the front of the stage was about 40 minutes into the concert. After another 45 minutes we were asked by the "security guys" to sit down because they had gotten some complaints from some people who couldnīt see much of the stage. We sat back down but it was clear that that wouldnīt last long. And soon enough, after 15 minutes we were back in front of the stage and stayed there for the remainder of the concert. Now my throat is a bit sore but I donīt mind a bit ! I wish all of you who go to the next concerts a wonderful evening, just like I had today ! Claudia |
