Chris Williams:

Hi all,
well here is a little about my trip to Frankfurt. I travelled up
from Andreas house with her and then once we arrived at the hotel
were we were staying, I met up with my great friend Konni, who I
would be with for the next few concerts!! Once at the hotel, we
found our room which was very nice indeed :-) and when I had booked
it up a few months ago, I got a good deal in the total price which
included a 4 course candlelit dinner and a champagne breakfast the
next morning!!! In actual fact, Claudia who was also staying in the
same hotel as us, asked if we could have the champagne with our
supper that evening as Konni and herself would be driving the next
day so would not be able to drink the champagne at breakfast, and we
could do that.
So afer a little rest and having said goodbye to Andrea, Sibylle and
Jacqueline who we had picked up at the airport on the way to
Frankfurt, Konni, Claudia and I got ready for the concert and then
went down to the resturant for our '4 course evening meal'!! now for
those that know me, you will know that I have a very small appetite
and never can eat a 3 course meal let alone a 4 course one!!!!

Well once we went to the resturant, 'whow' was the only word I could
think of!!! I have never been in somewhere like that before, as the
table had about 4 glasses of various sizes for each person!!!!!
never have I seen soo many glasses on one table!!!!!!!!!! Anyway the
three of us sat down and started the first course, and also the
champagne. We had arrived at the resturant at 18:00 hrs, so we had
plenty of time to eat it and enjoy the meal. Well 2 hours later and
several glasses of champagne later ;-) we quickly hurried to the
venue and took our seats about 5 minutes before the concert began.

Of course I will not give away any secrets from the actual show, so
as not to spoil it for anyone who has not already seen a show yet.
Chris was dressed in white shirt and black trousers and of course
his black leather jacket for the first few songs. He was in great
voice, but we could also see that he was definately suffering from a
nasty cold/infection, but he covers it up really well. And of course
if he needs a 'night nurse' or a 'day nurse' to nurse him back to
full health all he has to do is ask me ;-))))))))

Ah yes, I drift into dreams for a moment !!! ah well, I can but
dream, it keeps me happy!!!!!
The venue looked pretty well full from what I could see, and it was
at that point certainly the best from the first 3 German concerts I
had seen at that point. Of course the other 2 were very good as
well, but I think Frankfurt was special because there were maybe
alot more fans than in the previous nights. It was sure nice to meet
up with some fans that I have only emailed with for the last year or
so, and for some I had not seen them since the big fan meeting in
Dortmund 2 years ago.

When Chris sang 'Mirror of the Soul' he certainly looked a t more
confident than for the few previous nights. Sorry I can say no more
on this one. But you will see what I mean when you go to your first
concert!!

I'm just soo glad that the quiet bit in the middle of the show has
been kept in for this tour. I really love this bit where the band
all sit in the centre of the stage and sing a few songs together in
a small group.

Only too soon it was time for the fast bit at the end of the show,
and this concert was the first that Chris did not sing 'Patricia The
Stripper'.......maybe perhaps because he was not feeling too well?
The show lasted for about 2 hours and 50 minutes, which was STILL
GREAT :-)))))))))))))))))))))))) Although the tickets for the shows
are pretty expensive, you really do get good value for money
:-))))))))))))

After the show, we all joined up with Andrea and friends and went
out for a meal (another one....gosh that was hard for me with my
little appetite!!! )and a drink. I think we finally rolled into bed
at 04:00 hrs the next morning!!

A few hours later we got up for breakfast, which of course I did
not eat much ;-) and then Konni and I left for the drive up to
Dusseldorf airport where we would meet Stewart in the early
afternoon.

Well thats about all for now.
Take care all,
Chris(W)thebluehealer
