Killarney, Ireland - September 23, 2006

Andrea Lucas:

Just came back home from my weekend-trip to Ireland. Which means hardly 24 hours in
Ireland (including a very short night), on the road in Germany for about 4 - 5 hours
to Frankfurt-Hahn airport and back plus a 2 hours flight to Kerry Airport close to
Killarney. Thank you Claudia for the first review. I can only say that the concert
was fantastic. Like Claudia said some surprises. A few older songs were hardly to be
recognised at the beginning. And I had the feeling that the guys on the stage had a
laugh about us in the audience as we racked our brains to notice which song it was.
Like with Lady In Red which is usually recognized immediately. "Where We Will Be
Going" was arranged in another way as well. It was great to hear that song again.
It seemed like Chris and the boys really enjoyed playing together again. And though
I love Chris' solo shows, it was very nice to see him with a band again for a change.
I think Doris asked for the morph-video. Well, it wasn't in the show yesterday, but
will be ready when the tour starts, as we were told. Just like Claudia I can't remember
all the songs. But from my all-time favourites he sang "The Same Sun" and "The Tower"
to name just two. But I think he didn't do "Shadow Of The Mountain", though I might
be wrong. And Claudia is right, the new boys in the band create an "almost" orchestra
sound. And there is a new instrument in the more quiet part of the show. I liked that
very much. Yep, Chris W. should still be on her way home and she has a setlist, so she
can tell you about the other songs. Well, I'm up to bed - like Claudia not enough
sleep in the last days. Take care, Andrea

Chris Raymond:

Me too - just back from Killarney that is!!

Both Claudia and Andrea have given some great details about the
gig.. Please don't ask for more hints about the surprises 'cause it
would spoil the magic for everyone - and believe me it was just
magic... :-))

I will just say also that there was some awesome footage shown with
one of the 'epics' - just awesome...

I can give a set list as Sheila G, Alison B and I managed to write
them all down and remember between us (we didn't get a set list
either)

The Band members were fantastic musicians. Al was alone on lead

Thanks to C de B for a mindblowing show. Also particular thanks for
giving us Spanish Train again with Band - that was indeed the icing
on my (fruit)cake ! ;-))

The very best bit for me was when Chris said hello to his Mum who
was in the audience :-))

Thanks to Sheila and Alison for being such super travelling
companions - hope the kangeroo petrol in the car wasn't too bad!LOL

Bye,

Chris R
