Claudia Gerike: Hi all you friends out there :-) It's a rainy day in Marburg and after read Chris W. review, what else should I write? Well, I try to tell a bit from my point of view. When Willi and I started (Claudia S. picked us up at around 12.30 p.m.) it was raining cats and dogs and I don't know what else... we feared that the concert may be has to be cancelled because of this heavy rain. After having arrived to our hotel and looked round a bit we had a nice dinner in a restaurant before driving by taxi to the venue. Claudia said, she did not want to take the car because then she could not drink anything what I find is a very good point of view! I had some problems with my right eye and was hoping and praying it would not turn into a migraine attack what - thank God - did not happened. Inside the venue we soon saw quite a lot familiar faces like Chris and Steward, Angelika (Baumeister), Heike L., Jutta (with her daughter), Andrea and Sybille, Karin and... sorry, if I forgot anyone now. Oh btw: The name of the place where the girls beside you (Chris W.) came from is "Wankendorf." There was again some rain before the show, but then, as Chris W. already said it stayed dry but in my opinion it was not that cold, but everyone sees this different. At around 9 O'clock the sky was blue! For me this was and still is a miracle, and I can only say a BIG THANK YOU to "St. Peter" - the responsible man for the weather :-))))) I was looking forward to "the end of a perfect day" as I have seen in other reviews Chris played it during other concerts, but unfortunately he did not play it in the solo part. Hey Chris, if you read this, would you please, please, please play it in Bad Nauheim????? Just for me????? :-))))) When we came to the "walking round part'" and Chris was given the boots (Gummistiefel as we say in German) we really could not stop laughing and Willi began to sing "these boots are made for walking...." don't know if Chris heard it :-)))))) Chris walked down the steps and passes us in our first row. As some of you know, my husband is blind and he asked me where Chris is. I answered "just in front of us" and Willi reached out his hand, but Chris had already passed him but when he saw his and he may be recognized him or realized from my explanations that Willi is blind, he came back and took Willi's hand for a moment. Even all this explaining did not give me the chance to make a good photograph but I am happy for Willi. We where all standing and I did see nothing of Chris but it was again a great mood everyone was in. I finally got my picture when Chris went back on stage :-)))) One of my concert highlights was again the duet with Krystina Miles (Raging storm) but as Chris W. wrote before I also think she could have been dressed a little bit more "lady like". Not that I want her to stand in front of the narrow for 3 hours but her outfit would have suit more to a rock concert then to this quiet and lovely song. Anyway, that's just my point of view and of cause she can put on whatever she likes... When it was time for dancing we got up and due to a nice lady who helped me I got a place just in front of the stage (that was higher then me...) We had a great time dancing but I wish Chris would play not only the same songs in this part. What about playing "The Getaway" ?? Toooooo soon we had Snows of New York and we all did hold hands and sang together. Steward later asked me if I realized that my husband did hold hands with a strange lady.... As Chris W. already wrote we went for some drinks with some of the list group and at round 2 a.m. we (Claudia S. Willi and myself) went back to our hotel. After breakfast the next morning where we had a big discussion about the philosophy how to open a boiled egg :-))))))))))) we talked to a lady from Bochum (Elke) who was in our hotel and is also from this list. Hi Elke, if you read this, hope you arrived home safely. Claudia S. gave us a lift home where we arrived about 2 hours ago. Heavy rain on all the way back... So, that's it from me for today, hope you enjoyed it. Looking forward to see some of you in Bad Nauheim on Thursday. Hey Sandra, I hope the fact that you sell a ticket for this show does not mean that you are not coming..... Love Claudia G.
