"Following a spectacularly successful and spontaneous performance in Essex during the summer of 2003, Chris de Burgh's tour band have decided to make the set up a more permanent state of affairs and go out and do some more gigs... so the THE GUARANA BOYS were born.
The name Guarana Boys came about because of the length of Chris De Burgh's set which is often sooo long that the boys take guarana en masse to keep them all going till the end of the night!"

The Guarana Boys are going to record their first album in October 2003, the songs are mostly written by Al Vosper. Check out Al's homepage for more infos!
