Throughout a career spanning 28 years - amassing record sales in excess of 45 million, Chris has been presented with over 200 gold and platinum sales awards. Chris has always thrived on live performance and countless tours of the world have seen him perform in concert more than 2000 times.
Since his debut release in 1975, 2 countries emerged as the first to embrace the music of Chris de Burgh, Brazil and Canada, and Chris has continued his love affair with Canada through to the present day.
May 2003 will see Chris embark on his latest venture, a unique tour during which he will go back to the roots of his career. During this 28th anniversary tour Chris will perform his greatest hits, new and favourite songs, the way they were written.
This is a unique opportunity to see Chris perform solo. His strength as a singer/song-writer lies in his ability to re-define the art of story telling. Lyrics that inspire the imagination and paint pictures are seamlessly combined with melody and rhythm.
