FOOTSTEPS Competition

Win two tickets to a UK concert of your choice or a signed copy of "Footsteps"! From October 18 to November 14, 2008 visitors of the Official Chris de Burgh Website could take part in a special competition. The response was overwhelming. Way over 1300 responses were sent to us from all over the world! The question however did not seem to be very easy to answer: One of the songs on Chris de Burgh's new album is "Turn Turn Turn". Who originally had a hit with this song? The correct answer is of course "The Byrds". Yes, we know that Pete Seeger wrote the song and released it first, and there were a number of other artists who released it as well, but the first ones who had a HIT with this song were indeed The Byrds, who had a #1 in the charts in December 1965.
