Concert Review: Berlin, Germany - November 1, 1999

Hello friends,
now I find the time to write you some words about the Berlin concert on 1st November. All in all it was great! Unfortunatly the hall in the ICC was only about half filled. As I was told about 2500 people altogether.
Starting with "when I think of you", Chris played many songs from QR but also from "Beautyfull dreams", "Flying Colours","Inot the light", "The Getaway", one from "Spanish Train..." (Patricia) - did I forget something??? One of my personal highlights was when he played "Discovery" from "At the end of a perfact day" - one of my personal favorits.
Another great song was his version of "Hotel California".
He did a great show on stage and I still find it so fascinating that he is always in a kind of conversation with us, listening to the concerts.
The only thing I did not like was that we had fixed seats. The one I had was not to bad, and during the concert I managed to get a bit nearer to the stage because there have been some free seats, but the securaty persons did not allow us to stand up, get to the stage or even dance! Everytime we tried it we have been pushed back to our seats. Chris made a joke on this on the beginning saying something like "your seats are so confortible you would fall asleep..." I wonder if he realized that there have been some of us who tried to go with the music but just couldn't! Once, (Chris was just playing my favorit QR song: My lover is) One of these securaty persons touched me by my shoulders that hard and tried to intimidated me that I was under a little shock for the next day. I can not see any reasom for being that "kind" to people who just want to enjoy a concert!
Anyway, Chris did a great show and that is the most important thing!
I am looking forward to the concert in Kiel I go to next thursday. It will be surely very funny because I meet one of my friends from this list.
