Chris & Stewart Williams, Claudia Busse & Konni Risse:

We arrived at the "Stadthalle" at 3 pm and we were the first to be there. We were there for quite a while until more people arrived. At around half past 5 it began to get crowded. Finally at 7 pm the doors opened, but only the two in the middle (there were 5 doors altogether). So it got a "little" narrow. But we managed to reach the front row (center!!!!) and were very happy, of course!

The show started at 8.13 but the audience was in a good mood long before it. At 8.13 the lights went down the music started and Chris appeared singing "When I think of you". He was obviously in a good mood, too!

After three songs he took off his jacket in the "usual sexy way that he does it" (grin). It was very hot inside the hall and we down there in the audience were sweating as well.

When it comes to the slow section in the middle of the concert, when they sat down in a circle to perform "My lover is" and "Snows of New York", Chris (Williams, not "de Burgh") threw a sheep up to the stage (it was an "Irish" sheep), he picked it up and had a very nice conversation with it and he even let the sheep sing the first line of "My lover is"! ( He sang in a very high voice, a little bit like Mickey Mouse, very funny!) We all were laughing so much, we hardly could hear him sing!

At one point in the show he sang his usual Beatles medley , which included "Hello Goodbye", "Yesterday" and "Nowhere Man". In one of these songs (we can't remember which one) he pretended he'd forgotten the words and we helped him out. After we finished he thanked us saying "we knew the words better than he did"!

After the band had left the stage for their break, Chris did his usual solo section, in which he sang "Just a word away", which was the song he wrote for his son Hubie, "Discovery" , "Borderline" and "A spaceman came travelling" . Normally he sings "Patricia" in his solo part, but not this time!

Then it went to the more upbeat section and we were all rocking along with him. The show finally finished at 11.15, after the usual two encores, in which he finally sang "Patricia" (YEAH, bras were flying!!) and "Peaceful waters", finishing finally with "Hey Jude", and left us very, very, very exhausted, but absolutly "High on Emotion"!

On our way to our car we just passed by the backstage door (honest!) and a bus with darkend windows drew up. We saw a couple of the Band jump in and then something really, really strange happend.

Suddenly there was a commotion at the stage door, where quite a few people were waiting, then Chris Andrews appeared with another big guy carrying someone between them with a black leather jacket over his head pulling and pushing him into the bus. The doors closed and the bus drove off. It must have been Chris under this jacket, because it not only looked like his jacket, but also like his bump! (grin)

This all happend within a few seconds and left us standing very astonished as none of us has ever seen Chris leaving a concert hall like this before! But it looked very funny, good for "Candid Camera"!
