Concert Review: Montreal, Canada - April 7, 2000

Here as promess my review. Beware of the mispelling and typing mistakes, I am french speaking and very tired from a working and playing weekend.
Our journey started at 3pm when Linda pick me up. We started with the Omni hotel who used to be the 4 seasons hotel. 12 years ago I send Chris flowers over there so I thaught he might be there. He wasn't the doorman told us that he could be at the Vogue or at the....I forgot the name.
It's not important cause he wasn't anywhere to be found. So we headed to the Molson Center and tried to get inside. We could hear Chris practicing the song Living in the World. He was just few feets away from us and we couldn't see him grrrrrrrr.
Finnely we saw that security man and ask him where was the intrance for the stars......he looked at my badge that was made for the fan gathering with cdeb QR picture on it and my name and e-mail adress and reply...........ho you have a pass then you will have to go to 1025 De La Montagne and from there you'll be able to enter...........I run away hidign behind my long hair so he couldn't see I was laughing! Linda in my back laughing her brains out for sure........we had a blast from that story!!!! but we didn,t get much furter...on 1025 they couldn,t let us in........I said to the security guy ho...I guess I have the wrong pass huh???
It was 5:30 already and time to meet our friends at Moe's we were 11 in all Ann with her sister, Linda , Vicky with her friend (sorry I am pretty bad at remembering names!) Lorraine from Mass. and her baby and husband, And the 2 sheep girls Laurie with husband and her friend.
We had fun took pictures gave them their T-shirt. We talk about our journey laugh a lot eat and finnely it was time to go to the Molson Center one minute from Moe's.
We seperated to get to our seat but before agree to meet at the Ovation restaurant after the show and form there we'll see what we will do.
Before I left for the show I pick up my e-mail and came across one from Joe DeRouen asking whre the fan gathering was and what time......I aswered him and wonder why he ask??? never got an aswer of course because he was in the plane heading to Montreal!!!!!
THE SHOW
It started at 8:05 with Chris in a black shirt and black pants black shoes!
I wrote everything down so I wouldn't miss any songs. Thanks for Vicky who helped me remebering the order specialy after we went up front dancing.

Oh yeah I forgot 5 minutes before the show begins Vicky told me to look at my right in the red seat, she said he isn't that Joe??? we got up and went there and yes it was him with a backstage pass !!!! we talk for few minutes they flew from Texas this morning arrived in their hotel at 5pm and were tired but happy to be there. I asked if it was possible that he would meet backstage with Chris but he reply no saying that he will see him only before the Ottawa show the next day :o((( I was dissapointed....but 20 minutes before the end I have been told they they got up and dissapear! and we waited for them at the Ovation and they never show up! so I guess they decided to go backstage anyway! (I would have done same thing if only I had the right passs...)

Then he said he's at a nice place Hotel Center Ville room 2023.......hey Chris I believe you because you were not anywhere else!!!!! Then he said he and the band will go to The Globe a bar (then he said it was a women's place only!!! no guys allowed) and that last time he was in Montreal it costed him a fortune so he 's not shopping there anymore (he bought an Helicopter! talking about a fortune)

then he told us that he had meet some fans backstage and one gave him a letter and he read it. It was a nice story and he wanted to share it with us. Then he said the story was from Jocely (then we heard Jocelyn , she recognize herself)
Jocelyn had an old horse that begin to be blind but she didn't want to put him asleep so she helped took him to wakl everyday and then the horse got more confident so she can start riding it again and she was sighing him Cdeb songs (of course she was said Chris!) and Chris thaught that was a wonderful story . He sang for Jocelyne and her futur husband Here's your paradise.

The he said come on down up front so we got up and went in front of the stage I could see him very clearly......(he's in good shape dancing and bouncing on the stage and nice guys in the band too........and Jeri he as nice design lips not thick not thin just perfect! ha ha! told you I would tell you!!!!!)

Hope you enjoy reading it I sure did enjoy writing it, reliving (is that a word???) the show! sorry about the mistakes in the last part but we were too hight on emotion and I am sure we miss one or 2 songs.
