Concert Review: Schwäbisch Hall, Germany - September 1, 2001

It was for us the first open air concert.Strange though.....sitting in the open air end enjoy live music from Chris.
Seen him now for about 10 times,so we had to "find " our place to this.
The church(lightned in the dark with mystic lights)gave it a special feeling.Houses build in the old style....yes,it sure gave it something special.
Chris started 15 min later as usual. I guess he had to see something about the footballgame Germany vs England??
Anyway.....when he appaerd on the stage he could tell us what the score was between Ierland vs Holland. Well,sorry Chris.....you don't have to tell that,do you???
Or is it because I'm Dutch,like football very much,was confinced that we would win and didn't like to see that Chris was happy that his country beats ours.....lol.......
Well,that was not all.....chris could tell us aswell how the score was about Germany-England.....and so he did the whole show !!!! BACK TO THE MUSIC.....
The first hour he was playing a soloconcert.Changing constantly between quitar and piano,he sang his songs.(Can't remember what he all song...is there someone who has a list about it??)
His voice was again lovely...it sounded real different at the open marketplace...(Sometimes there was a slide mistake-but who cares)
As I told you,for me and my girlfriend,it really was different this time. We didn't sit down at our places,but stayed at the side so we could dancing very romanticly this concert. AND I DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS THE REASON.....but boy.....what a concert it was !!!!!
All the songs(the second half with Peter)sounded just perfect,but I really,really can remember what he said and what songs he sang.....I do know that he sang again many "covers" all I know that it were 2 1/2 hours,but it seemd to us it was only an hour.... dancing together in the open air......the dark air sometimes blinded with big lights.....only have eyes for eachtother....yep.....it sure was the most romantic concert we ever had.......thanks chris.....
