Concert Review: Paris, France - October 28, 2002
Jean-Marc Bauler:
Just a few words about Chris' concert in Paris. The Olympia-theatre is a great place to listen good music. You are well seated and have a great view of the scene. It's a cosy atmosphere there but it's not really a place to dance. The sound is absolutely fabulous. We saw a lots of concerts in Germany, but never had a sound like this. At "revolution" people stands up an tried to dance, but it's difficult and after the song, everybody went back to his place. After "Another Rainbow", my girlfriend asked him, while giving him a rose, if he will come to Luxembourg next year and his answer was clear and loud "YES". The atmosphere was very intimate and it was like having Chris and his Band at home. Did you know that Chris speaks French very well, and he tried to say nearly everything in French. But the miracle works, even in Paris. At the first recall, the hole Olympia danced and clapped in their hands. Chris is really a great artist. Snows of New-York closes the show and we left the Olympia very happy with a fool idea coming up in our heads. Why not go to Brighton ? Only take the ferry and here we are. But I think, it will stay a dream.
