The concert took place in a tent at a music festival. It was around 30 °C
outside and I guess you can imagine what the temperature must have been
inside that tent. CdeB started the concert saying that he will play a
selection of his favourite songs. He was in a very good mood, made some
jokes and spoke to the audience all the time. I am sure he enjoyed the
concert as much as the audience did.

CdeB said that he had a wonderful massage in the afternoon by an
Argentinian girl (why am I Swiss??????). Chris announced that his new CD
will probably be released in spring next year and that it will be an
accoustic record. The bits of the new songs he played are just wonderful,
slow ballad type songs. I wish it was spring 2004 tomorrow :-)))).

When he started to sing The Revolution some girls ran towards the stage to
dance. A few securities tried to immediately chase them away but Chris
wanted them to stay and sent the securities away instead :-). Some fans
went to the stage and asked Chris for an autograph during the concert and
guess what, he did it! They got an autograph! Isn't it fantastic how much
he cares for his fans? When he started to sing Don't pay the ferryman the
audience went wild and got off their seats. Everybody danced and clapped
their hands and did not stop until the end of the concert. During the last
encore he shook the hands of all fans in front of the stage and even
grasped the bald head of a security. That was great fun ;-))).

It was a great concert. I must admit I did not miss the band. It was so
beautiful to just hear Chris's powerful voice and the piano or his guitars.
I haven't seen Chris performing live for at least 20 years. Yesterday I
asked myself how I managed to live without his great concerts for such a
long time. I failed to find an answer but I promise that I won't wait
another 20 years. This time I will wait 2 days only!!!! After the wonderful
evening I had yesterday I decided on the spot to see Chris again in
Karlsruhe on Sunday. This will be a concert with his band. I wonder if the
playlist will be the same. See you on Sunday, Chris :-))).

Going back to lurking mode now and start listening to some CdeB songs.
