Concert Review: Ludwigslust, Germany - August 30, 2003
Natalie Schulz:
Hi everybody.. I just got back from Ludwigslust, a great concert. I went there with friends and we arrived in Ludwigslust at 5. While waiting for the concert to begin, we were looking unfriendly to the clouds and as the people who also went there know, it worked. Against all weather previews, it was not raining. Okay, it was a bit cold, but there was a blue sky and a lot of stars... Chris was in a good mood last night, I think. He played nearly two and a half hour. It was a bit pity that it were almost the same titles like last year but for me it was a fantastic concert anyway. It was a big party. When the concert started, a lot of people stood right and left from the seats and were dancing, me included. When Chris sang Revolution everybody stood up and ran to the stage. I had got a really good place and a lot of fun. I got my rose to Chris, when he sang 'The Best That Love Can Be'. After standing nearly half a minute right in front of him with my rose, he got up and took it. In the meantime I had the feeling of being at the wrong place in the wrong time. But he smiled and I knew I was wrong. This time, I think, he sang the whole song 'Road to Freedom' with guitar and it sounded very good. When Chris finished the concert with singing 'Hey Jude', there was a big firework starting, I think it was organized by the SVZ. It was a very special ending of the concert, even if you didn't know where to watch, to the stage or the firework. It was a very special evening for me and I want to say thank you to a special friend, who made this possible for me. Thanx, and I hope there will be a lot of concerts we'll visit together in the future. Many greetings from Berlin, Natalie**
