Concert Review: Berlin, Germany, May 13, 2004
Chris Williams:
Here we go... Chris & Stewart, Konni, Andrea, Dany and Claudia...sending greetings to the list from Berlin, the 2nd station of "our European Tour" :-))) After the Braunschweig show of 2,5 hours we all had a good time and laughter in the hotel bar, trying to realize what a great show we had seen! Finally next morning we managed to bring 6 people and 8 suitcases into 1 car :-)) and though it's a big car it was still a squeeze...now we know what it's like to go on tour!!! After 3 hours we arrived to Berlin, listening to the new single (whith a new unknown track on it!!!) again and again and again ... Once the car was unpacked into our 5 star hotel ;-) to recover for a few hours in the whirlpool...then with shrivelled skin we went to the next concert where we met Claudia Gericke as well as some other listfriends. We found out that row 3 was row 2 (row 1 was missing in the centre block) and were glad about another perfect view. Some of us had row 1 on the side, again we had to wave at each other... but we coped with it. Again another superb concert!!! with 1 other song (Guilty secret replaced another one) big shock for Chris (W) on this tour-it looks like Chris (dB) has dropped "Missing you" from the setlist...so what to do now with the 40 bottles of wine in the luggage???? We decided to drink them on our own :-))) If you read this Chris, it tasted quiet nice ;-) but probably not as half as nice as 1 of your 4000 bottles...?!? (Editor's note: We're still suffering from the effects of it and the concerts as well) Now we try to get sober by doing some sightseeing in Berlin and then go to Aachen tomorrow...meeting more of you out there (for more wine) So everybody of you who has no ticket yet, go and get one!!!!!! It's well worth it! Chris in a different way with a voice more beautiful than ever!!!!! Hugs from all of us Claudia (with wounded fingers now), Dany, Chris, Andrea, Stewart and Konni (all with sore hands from too much clapping) (still bringing back the empty bottles) PS: Watch out for the next part of our diary after the Aachen show!!!
