Concert Review: Dublin, Ireland - September 2, 2009

Well I didn't think anything could top Monday night but I was wrong. The horrible weather here did nothing to dampen my excitement at getting my ticket for tonight's sold out show. The evening got started with me managing to get a couple of pictures with Chris just before the show. In the howling gail and pouring rain he was ever the professional with a big smile for the camera. Such a gent! The show was very much the same as Monday's show as you would expect but with a few changes. Most noticably was the addition of Hubie and guitar performing alongside his Dad...and what a musician Hubie is....a chip off the old block me thinks! My view was actually very good despite the ticket saying it was restricted viewing-no complaints from me on that score! Once again the crowd as electric and it was reflected in Chris' performance. Yes, this has well and truly been a successful homecoming for Chris and I am delighted that I was a part of it...for two nights! Chris said that he will be back soon and I dearly hope he will keep his promise. Joe
