Now And Then - new compilation album
March 2008
- Released in April 2008 through UMTV and initially only available in the UK and Eire, 'Now And Then' is a brand new compilation album of Chris's greatest hits and classic tracks. The compilation will be announced by the release of a promotional single, the duet 'Live For The Day', recorded with rising 20-year-old Lebanese star Tina Yamout.
During his trip to Lebanon last year, Chris performed on ‘Star Academy’, the Middle East’s biggest reality music TV show. On this show Chris discovered a young Lebanese singer, Tina Yamout, who he believes is the most talented young singer he has come across in 20 years. Since then Tina has been to London and recorded a new single duet with Chris entitled ‘Live For The Day’, this duet will be released on the album ‘NOW AND THEN’ through UMTV in April 2008. Tina is 20 years old and currently studying in Beirut for a degree in Marketing whilst simultaneously finishing writing her first album.
Chris will premiere his live performance of the song with Tina when he returns to 'Star Academy' on April 4.

Al Vosper - Solo CD
November 2007 - Al Vosper, long-time guitarist for Chris, has released an impressive debut solo album, 'You Don't Know Me'. Al sings on all tracks and, of course, plays guitar. The CD is now available at www.cdeb.net.
Collaboration with Iranian band
November 2007
- Chris has recently completed recording with ‘The Arian Band’. The song, ‘The Words I Love You’, is in English and Farsi and will be included on The Arian Band’s new album for release in Iran this December.
This is an exciting project as it is the first collaboration between Western and Iranian artists. For further information on The Arian Band please visit www.arianmusic.com .

Essen concert cancelled
July 2007 - Due to unforeseen circumstances Kenny Thomson Management unfortunately has to announce the cancellation of the last Chris de Burgh show, Summer 2007 at the Gruga Park, Essen on Wednesday 8th August. Tickets for this show can be refunded through the normal channels or can be used to attend the Bielefeld show on Tuesday 7th August. Obviously reseating arrangements will need to be made and will be dealt with on your arrival in Bielefeld, for further information please contact Ticket and Travelshop +49231 1203388 . Once again I’d like to apologise for the cancellation of this show and any inconvenience it may have caused. Kenny Thomson

Summer Show news!
June 2007 - Exciting news! The secret is out - Chris’ band will be appearing on the forthcoming Summer Tour! The show will be a mixture of solo and band performance, supported once again with a dramatic production, a variation on the hugely successful ‘Storyman Tour’ from Autumn 2006. Fan Tribute Project 2007
April 2007 - The 2007 Fan Tribute Project has just started! If you are a singer, songwriter, musician or artist and a fan of Chris de Burgh's music, you are welcome to participate in this year's tribute set. This year a brand new contest has been added - the final CD set will contain two CDs: the traditional cover song CD, and a second one containing songs inspired by Chris de Burgh. Duet with Marie-Élaine Thibert
April 2007 - The brandnew album by French Canadian singer Marie-Élaine Thibert contains a duet version with Chris de Burgh of his song "Lonely Sky", called "Loin de Moi". See details here. An interview wit Chris and Marie-Élaine will be broadcasted on Québec television TVA next Thursday (see TV for details).

Radio concert in Frankfurt
March 2007 - Chris de Burgh and Kristyna Myles will perform a solo radio concert for HR1 Germany on Friday March 23. Tickets for this exclusive performance will be available only via the radio station. Next Tuesday (March 20) you can win the tickets at the radio station. More info here and here.
"Raging Storm" - New Single Release
February 2007
- Chris de Burgh’s new single Raging Storm, is released on 12th March through Ferryman/ Edel Records. The CD will contain 3 tracks - Raging Storm (with Kristyna Myles), The Mirror of The Soul and bonus track - The Seduction of Lady Jane Seymour (not available before). Both Raging Storm and The Mirror Of The Soul are taken from his current album The Storyman, which features 12 themed tracks, each accompanied by it’s own story. There will be a special price, limited edition package containing de Burgh’s last 2 albums - The Storyman and The Road To Freedom also released on 12th March.
Joining Chris on Raging Storm, is 22 year old Kristyna Myles, who has been described ‘as one of the hottest singer-songwriters in Britain today.’ Kristyna represented Manchester in a BBC radio 5 live national busking competition and won. When her manager sent Chris a tape, he loved her voice and invited her to record the duet with him at Abbey Road Studios together with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. She accepted and delighted everyone by recording a perfect take first time. Kristyna recently joined Chris on his European Arena tour dates to perform Raging Storm with him, accompanied by his band and a large sound and light production.
More dates have just been announced in Europe for The Storyman Tour and UK dates will follow soon.
"The Storyman Solo" - European Summer Tour 2007
January 2007 - A European Solo Summer Tour has just been announced - 19 brandnew concert dates between July 8 and August 7. Ticket Sale starts on January 27, but website visitors can already order their tickets immediately! More info at TourNews.
"Art On Ice" - Sunday show cancelled
January 2007 - The previously scheduled 2nd "Art On Ice" show (Sunday, February 11) has unfortunately been cancelled. Chris de Burgh will be performing one show only on Saturday 10th February. Anyone who has already bought tickets for Sunday can have them changed for Saturday. Please call your ticket agency.

Athens concert postponed!
July 2006 - Important notice for all Greek fans going to the show in Athens: The local promoter in Greece has moved the concert date to a new date yet to be confirmed! He will ensure that all ticket holders will be contacted and we will advise the new concert date as soon as it is confirmed. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Change of Greek show venue
June 2006 - The venue for Chris de Burgh's concert in Athens (July 19) has changed from Apollon to Lecabettus instead (where Chris last played in 1994). Existing ticket holders will have tickets re-issued by the local Promoter. Outlets remain the same.

"Songs Of Praise" - TV special on BBC 1
December 2005 - A 40 minute "Songs Of Praise" special with Chris de Burgh will be broadcast on UK TV (BBC 1) on the 1st of January 2006 (5:10 pm). Chris de Burgh talks to Sally Magnusson about his faith and music, explaining how important words are to him and how God has had such an impact on his life. At his old school, the Marlborough College Chapel Choir accompany Chris in a special recording of Psalm 23 and several hymns.
Concert in New Zealand
November 2005 - Chris de Burgh will perform for the first time a concert in New Zealand next year. The concert is part of the Mission Estate Winery Concert, and will be held in Napier on February 25, 2006. Tickets have just gone on sale. Check our tournews for details.

October 2005 - Chris de Burgh will perform at the Canadian TV show "Star Académie" on November the 6th (7:30 - 9:30 pm Eastern time LIVE on TVA network).
Patricia The Stripper 2005
October 2005 - Chris de Burgh has recorded "Patricia The Stripper 2005" with Dustin The Turkey for Charity. It will also appear on Dustin's forthcoming album 'Bling When You're Minging'. They will be performing on Irish TV (RTE) at the Late Late Show tonight (28/10/05)! The Single 'Patricia The Stripper 2005' will be released in Ireland on 4th November.
Halifax - Change of location and date!
October 2005 - Chris de Burgh has replaced his previously advertised November 21 show at the World Trade and Convention Centre with a performance on November 19 at The Rebecca Cohn. Tickets purchased for the World Trade and Convention Centre show can be returned to the Metro Centre Box Office for a full refund. There will also be a section of seats being held for the November 19 Rebecca Cohn show for ticket holders who refund their World Trade and Convention Centre show tickets - please call the Halifax Metro Centre at 902-451-1221 for details on how to take advantage of this offer. Tickets for the new Rebecca Cohn show went on sale Thursday, October 27 (902-494-3820 or toll free: 1-800-874-1669).
