Solo summer concerts in Germany
December 2001 - Chris de Burgh will play an open air solo concert in Stuttgart/Germany on June 15, 2002. Only limited tickets are available. Also, on July 20, 2002, Chris de Burgh will play at the Watzmann festival in Berchtesgaden. See tournews for details!

November 2001 - The AVO session concert in Basel/Switzerland (a solo concert, without band) on November 11, 2001 was recorded by Swiss television and will be broadcasted on SF1 on 26 October 2002, and later on 3sat. An internet broadcast of the show is available here !

October 2001 - The winning bid for the Crocus Trust auction came in last minute. We are very pleased about this, as it raises much needed funds for a great cause.
1st International Fan Meeting in Wuppertal
October 2001 - On March 24, 2002 there will be a huge international meeting of Chris de Burgh fans in the discotheque "Pavillon" in Wuppertal/Germany. Chris de Burgh president of Crocus Trust - Online auction winner will sing with Chris de Burgh!
September 2001 - Chris de Burgh is president of the Crocus Trust Colorectal Cancer Project, a UK based charity, which aims to help reduce the number of deaths from the UK's second biggest cancer killer, bowel cancer. Learn more about the Crocus Trust here.
From September 6 to October 31 2001 the Chivas 200 Online Charity Auction features several unique celebrity auctions, hosted at ebay. One of the lots is "join Chris de Burgh in an Irish or UK recording studio to sing one of his favourite songs and take home a personal and unique recording which you'll cherish forever." June 2001 - Chris de Burgh will be on UK TV on June 30th in the programme "80's mania", and on July 16th on GMTV to support "Get Up And Give". Also, there will be an extra date for the Nokia Night Of The Proms on December 6th.

May 2001 - Chris de Burgh will be joining a special show live from the Corn Exchange Festival in Leeds on Saturday, May 26. The show will be broadcasted on Radio BBC 2 starting at 15:30.
Liverpool concert this summer
May 2001 - Chris de Burgh will play another concert in the UK in Liverpool, as part of the Summer Pop Season on July 18th. See Tour News for details.
Charity concert for victims of Volendam
April 2001 - Chris de Burgh will give a charity concert for the victims of the Volendam disaster from last New Year's eve. The concert will take place on June 15th in the church St. Vincentius in Volendam (The Netherlands). Check the Tour News for details.

New album
March 2001 - The new compilation album "Notes from Planet Earth - The Ultimate Collection" is released on March 19, 2001 in the UK. Amongst old favourites, it contains the brand new duet with Shelley Nelson, called "Two Sides To Every Story". It also contains "Missing You 2001", a newly recorded, slightly faster version of this old favourite plus the DJ-Q-ball Remix of "I Want It (And I Want It Now). The album will also be released in Canada on April 10, 2001 but the track listing differs slightly. Check here for details.
New single
March 2001 - The brand new duet with Shelley Nelson, called "Two Sides To Every Story" will be released as a single in the UK on March 12, 2001. Both will perform the song LIVE on the LONDON TODAY programme on March 13, 2001 and the OPEN HOUSE - the Gloria Hunniford show on Channel 5 on March 14, 2001.
UK Summer Concerts 2001
Februar 2001 - Chris de Burgh will play 4 outdoor shows in the UK in the summer. They will be open air picnic style concerts with a firework finale. See Tour News for details.
