Chris on Irish TV

December 2002 - On Christmas Eve (Dec 24, 2002) Chris de Burgh will appear on a Christmas TV special on Irish TV RTE1 (6:30 pm) in the programme "Joy To The World", singing two songs.

Chris on Polish TV

November 2002 - On December 6, Chris de Burgh will be the First Lady's special music guest at the Presidential Palace and will perform 5 songs live on TVP2 as part of the annual children's charity fund raiser. Also he will appear on TVP1 on New Year's Eve.

Chris on German TV

November 2002 - Chris de Burgh will perform this coming Saturday (30 November) on German TV "Verstehen Sie Spass" (ARD, 20:15h).

Special release of "Timing Is Everything" in Germany

November 2002 - A limited special release of the album "Timing Is Everything" will be available in Germany as of December 2nd. It will include a 4 track DVD plus the special Middle Eastern version of "Lebanese Night".

November 2002 - Take our "Lebanese Night" Quiz and win one of two rare promo CDs. These CDs contain the Middle Eastern version of "Lebanese Night", and were only produced for radio stations in the Middle East. The Middle Eastern version is different from the album version on "Timing Is Everything". Chris de Burgh personally signed these CDs for the winners!

Extra concert in Holland

October 2002 - Due to the horrific storms in Holland last Sunday many of Chris de Burgh fans who had bought tickets for the show were unable to attend. As Chris de Burgh has always considered his fans to be the most important part of his career he has agreed to perform a special intimate solo performance for the ticket holders who were unable to make the concert. This new show will take place on Valentine's day, February 14th 2003 at the NCC PWA - Zaal in the city of Den Haag, Holland. Existing ticket holders should send their tickets for the Rotterdam show, together with their name, address and contact/telephone details to Mojo Concerts, Postbus 3121, 2601 DC DELFT. Please write on the top left hand corner of the envelope "CHRIS DE BURGH". These tickets must be received by November 15th 2002 and your new tickets for the Valentine's Day Show will be sent as soon as possible after receipt but please bear in mind, Christmas mail may have effect how long this takes.
There will also be additional tickets put on sale for this concert and they will be available from Saturday 16th November 2002 and can be ordered on www.ticketservice.nl.

October 2002 - The concert in Frankfurt on Friday, October 18 will be broadcasted live over the internet by t-online. A direct link to the broadcast will be provided on our website, so make sure to check in on October 18 at 20:10h (Central European time). Please note that you will need the latest version of Windows Media Player to view the live stream.

Chris de Burgh on UK television

August 2002 - Chris de Burgh will perform his new single "Guilty Secret" on UK television, channel ITV, programme GMTV on Thursday 29 August. He will give a live interview (no performance) on BBC Breakfast News on Tuesday 3 September (8:10 am). He will also appear (performing Guilty Secret and being interviewed) on Channel 5's Open House with Gloria Hunniford on Monday 9 September at 2:15. Another interview (no performance) will be broadcasted on the UK BBC 1 "Heaven And Earth" show on Sunday 15 September. On Thursday 12 September, Chris de Burgh will be the special guest of the "Rattlebag Show" on Irish Radio RTE, live from 2:45 to 3:30pm (repeat at 11:10 pm).

"Warm Up" Show in Ireland!

July 2002 - A "warm up" show has been added to start the tour on September 13 in Chris de Burgh's home town of Wexford, Ireland. . See tournews for details!

New album release in September

July 2002 - Chris's new album "Timing Is Everything" will be released in Europe on September, 16. It contains 11 brandnew songs. The first single from this album is called "Guilty Secret", and will be for sale on September, 2. The album will probably be released in Canada by the end of September, and in USA, Australia and the rest of the world by the end of the year. We'll be able to provide you with soundclips soon, so watch this space!

Prague added to tour schedule 2002

Kiel concert changed to Flensburg

March 2002 - The concert originally scheduled for Kiel on 30 September 2002 has been changed to Flensburg (Campushalle) on the same day. Flensburg is located close to the Danish border.

Solo concerts in Estonia, Russia and Poland

January 2002 - Chris de Burgh will give five solo concerts in Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Warsaw next March. Tickets are on sale now. See tournews for details!

Volendam Video / DVD on sale!

January 2002 - The solo charity concert in the St. Vincentius church in Volendam (June 2001) was filmed and is now being sold on video (European standard) and DVD (region 1 and 2). All proceeds of the sale go to the foundation of the victims of the Volendam disaster from New Year's Eve 2000/2001. The video is only on sale in a limited edition in Jan Sombroek's record shop in Volendam and can exclusively be ordered by visitors of the Official Chris de Burgh homepage. Click here for details!
