November 2007 - Chris de Burgh will be doing a limited number of shows in 2008, initially in Eastern and Western Europe. Details to be announced soon!

Al Vosper - Solo CD

November 2007 - Al Vosper, long-time guitarist for Chris, has released an impressive debut solo album, 'You Don't Know Me'. Al sings on all tracks and, of course, plays guitar. The CD is now available at www.cdeb.net.

Collaboration with Iranian band

November 2007 - Chris has recently completed recording with ‘The Arian Band’. The song, ‘The Words I Love You’, is in English and Farsi and will be included on The Arian Band’s new album for release in Iran this December.
This is an exciting project as it is the first collaboration between Western and Iranian artists. For further information on The Arian Band please visit www.arianmusic.com .

UK television and magazine

October 2007 - Please note that Chris de Burgh will be on ITV next week (October 25), check here for details. Also there will be an article with Chris and Rosanna in the Daily Mail Weekend magazine on the 20th of October.

Essen concert cancelled

July 2007 - Due to unforeseen circumstances Kenny Thomson Management unfortunately has to announce the cancellation of the last Chris de Burgh show, Summer 2007 at the Gruga Park, Essen on Wednesday 8th August. Tickets for this show can be refunded through the normal channels or can be used to attend the Bielefeld show on Tuesday 7th August. Obviously reseating arrangements will need to be made and will be dealt with on your arrival in Bielefeld, for further information please contact Ticket and Travelshop +49231 1203388 . Once again I’d like to apologise for the cancellation of this show and any inconvenience it may have caused. Kenny Thomson

June 2007 - Chris de Burgh's guitarist Al Vosper has a new album out, called "You Don't Know Me", which will be released in the first week of July. Check Al's site at www.myspace.com/alvosper.

Gala Concert in Jersey

June 2007 - A Gala Concert by Chris de Burgh and friends and Gourmet Dinner by Michelin Star Chef, Shaun Rankin at St Ouen’s Manor, Jersey, Channel Islands Saturday 13th October 2007 to celebrate the launch of ‘The Emergency Operations Fund’. See details here.

Limited Edition Box Set

June 2007 - By the kind involvement of Universal Records we are delighted to now make available a limited edition box set, 'Much More Than This', which includes four CDs, one of which features early Chris de Burgh demos, first mixes and otherwise unheard and unavailable material. The box set will never be made available through any commercial outlet. You will only be able to buy it through www.cdeb.net or at future Chris de Burgh live performances. Profits from sales of the box set will be donated to L.I.F.E. 'Much More Than This' is a comprehensive, multi-track career-spanning anthology. Summer Show news!

June 2007 - Exciting news! The secret is out - Chris’ band will be appearing on the forthcoming Summer Tour! The show will be a mixture of solo and band performance, supported once again with a dramatic production, a variation on the hugely successful ‘Storyman Tour’ from Autumn 2006. May 2007 - An additional "Jasper Carrotts Christmas Rock With Laughter Show" on December 16 has just been added. Tickets go on sale on May 5. Please see details at our TourNews section.

Fan Tribute Project 2007

April 2007 - The 2007 Fan Tribute Project has just started! If you are a singer, songwriter, musician or artist and a fan of Chris de Burgh's music, you are welcome to participate in this year's tribute set. This year a brand new contest has been added - the final CD set will contain two CDs: the traditional cover song CD, and a second one containing songs inspired by Chris de Burgh. UK Tour 2007

April 2007 - A UK tour of four dates in November has just been confirmed. All concerts will be Chris de Burgh and his band. Tickets will go on sale soon (May 4), so watch our website for the links! Please see details at our TourNews section.

Jasper Carrotts Christmas Rock With Laughter

April 2007 - Chris de Burgh and his band will be part of the "Jasper Carrotts Christmas Rock With Laughter Show" in Birmingham, UK, for three nights in December. Please see details at our TourNews section.

Duet with Marie-Élaine Thibert

April 2007 - The brandnew album by French Canadian singer Marie-Élaine Thibert contains a duet version with Chris de Burgh of his song "Lonely Sky", called "Loin de Moi". See details here. An interview wit Chris and Marie-Élaine will be broadcasted on Québec television TVA next Thursday (see TV for details).

Unplugged concert in Switzerland in April!

March 2007 - A solo acoustic concert in a very small club in Zermatt, Switzerland has just been announced. Please see details at our TourNews section.

Please note that prices are exactly the same as on tour but EXCLUDE postage (mailing rates are extra and notified at the check-out), and that we only hold stocks of the items listed, and only in the sizes indicated.
In addition, we have added some new CD titles to the Store - including one of Chris's rarest releases ever.

Radio concert in Frankfurt

March 2007 - Chris de Burgh and Kristyna Myles will perform a solo radio concert for HR1 Germany on Friday March 23. Tickets for this exclusive performance will be available only via the radio station. Next Tuesday (March 20) you can win the tickets at the radio station. More info here and here.

"Raging Storm" - New Single Release

February 2007 - Chris de Burgh’s new single Raging Storm, is released on 12th March through Ferryman/ Edel Records. The CD will contain 3 tracks - Raging Storm (with Kristyna Myles), The Mirror of The Soul and bonus track - The Seduction of Lady Jane Seymour (not available before). Both Raging Storm and The Mirror Of The Soul are taken from his current album The Storyman, which features 12 themed tracks, each accompanied by it’s own story. There will be a special price, limited edition package containing de Burgh’s last 2 albums - The Storyman and The Road To Freedom also released on 12th March.
Joining Chris on Raging Storm, is 22 year old Kristyna Myles, who has been described ‘as one of the hottest singer-songwriters in Britain today.’ Kristyna represented Manchester in a BBC radio 5 live national busking competition and won. When her manager sent Chris a tape, he loved her voice and invited her to record the duet with him at Abbey Road Studios together with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. She accepted and delighted everyone by recording a perfect take first time. Kristyna recently joined Chris on his European Arena tour dates to perform Raging Storm with him, accompanied by his band and a large sound and light production.
More dates have just been announced in Europe for The Storyman Tour and UK dates will follow soon.

"The Storyman Solo" - European Summer Tour 2007

January 2007 - A European Solo Summer Tour has just been announced - 19 brandnew concert dates between July 8 and August 7. Ticket Sale starts on January 27, but website visitors can already order their tickets immediately! More info at TourNews.
