Chris de Burgh Solo!

Berlin (mb) On 13th May 2005 (sic!) Chris de Burgh enthused over 2000 fans
in the sold out Berlin Philharmonie.

During his solo tour throughout Germany the sympathical singer came to the
capital and presented a strong concert without band!

You only need 4 things for an unusual concert experience: a guitar, a
piano, a microphone and a Chris de Burgh. Without band or any musical
support Chris enchanted the Berlin audience. Between the songs he told
short funny stories, for example about the probably biggest dog poop that
he met in Braunschweig, with his right shoe.

Musically he presented a fresh program with many songs from his current
album "The Road To Freedom" and the best out of 17 albums (150 songs). So
classics like "Lady In Red", "Don't Pay The Ferryman" and "Liberty" were
on the setlist jus as "Ship To Shore" or "Borderline".

Highlight of the show was a walk through the audience. With a headset
microphone and guitar he walked through the rows while he was singing and
was loudly celebrated by the audience.

Who wants to experience Chris de Burgh live, should hurry. Many concerts
are already sold out.
