Chris didn't make everyone wait for long

It started neatly in time and ended with a furious final. Chris de
Burgh made his fans happy in the castle.

Weimar. He stood on stage exactly at 7:30 pm - real stars don't make
everyone wait for long. When Chris de Burgh left the stage at 10:15 pm,
he had used 155 minutes to warm up an audience, which was a bit
reserved at first, with old and new songs until there was a true storm
of enthusiasm. Solo, only with grand piano and guitar, he performed
that night without a break (much to the regret of the courtyard
publican). He went for a walk around the audience, let himself be
cuddled by ladies in their mid-fifties, received a baseball cap by a
woman - and lots and lots of roses. But after the last note Chris de
Burgh escaped with a ready van, in order to settle at the Jakobsklause
only a few meters away. There he enjoyed his time together with his
manager, assistant and bodyguard until 12:30, when his bed at the
Hilton called.
