Chris de Burgh sat on dry ground Brühl. About 1.5 million litres of water are already racing between gorges and waterfalls, but at many cornes of the new wildwater attraction in Phantasialand, building and decoration is still going on: Actually "River Quest" should have been opened officially yesterday afternoon, but the start is postponed, as the building works weren't finished in time. So the famous sponsor of the rafting attraction could only rehearse sitting on dry ground: The Irish superstar Chris de Burh presented his new album "Timing Is Everything", which will be released in September, in the theme park. At the same time he adoped the water attraction. The promoter organized a vacation atmosphere for the scenery of Chris de Burgh's brief concert on this second day of the school holidays: In front of the fairy tale lake a little beach has been placed, with deck chairs all around it. The star performed part of his new album on guitar and keyboard. Four songs (ed. note: five!) have been presented to the audience for the first time live. After that the singer took a little walk through the park, talked to his fans and finally visited the new wildwater attraction that replaces the canyon rollercoaster which burned off last year and should be started in a few days. Phantasialand promises a racing ride through tunnels and cellars of a lonely castle ruin with the world's highest downhill ride.
