Chris de Burgh likes Berlin


Chris de Burgh has a liking for the German capital. "Berlin is one of my 
favourite cities in Europe", he said. He is an admirer of architecture, 
art and history - and Berlin is a town full of history. When he plays in 
the metropolis at the Spree tonight, he notices a change in the audience. 
In earlier times, one could notice by the body language who came from the 
East of the city. "This has changed: People have blossomed like a flower 
that grows out of the ground in springtime", he said. He himself is happier 
than he could ever have dreamed to be. "I make the right music, I have the 
sensitivity to observe and I am blessed with a voice that can touch people."
